Rotarians in the News, Heather Kendrick, speaks at local Kiwanis Club

Heather Kendrick, a member in the March class, was the speaker at the local Kiwanis Club on April 23. Her topic was “Being Miss Michigan.” She is the reigning Miss Michigan and the daughter of a Kiwanian in Port Huron. In her presentation, she noted that the four points of her crown represent style, success, scholarship and service and explained that she is a strong proponent of education. Coincidentally, the motto of the local Kiwanians is “Helping Kids Succeed since 1921.”
