Rotarian in the News – Yolanda Whiten

Rotarian in the News – Yolanda Whiten: Yolanda joined our club in 2014 but has been very busy as President and CEO of the Ann Arbor Community Center and as a Pastor of the St. James AME Church in Brighton. In the latter role, she has become involved with WHMI, a local radio station, in topics related to race. As a result, the station has recently offered her a weekly podcast spot and a daily 60 second “moment.” Moreover, she has been asked to join the Livingston Diversity Council Board. Whew! As if those commitments are not enough, her laser focus and interminable energy have stirred her to join both our club’s Program Committee and our new Anti-Racism Committee. We are truly blessed to have this dedicated Rotarian with us!
