RCAA Community Grants Announced

The Community Allocations Committee met on May 11 and recommended grant awards totaling $60,000 to 13 organizations as part of the Community Grants Program.  All in all, we received 44 applications totaling over $203,000 in funding.

The following Community Grant awards have been approved, funded by the 22019-20 RCAA Community Service budget:

Catholic Social Services $5,000 Add personal care items to the Food Pantry inventory
Ozone House $5,000 Sensory space for youth
SafeHouse Center $5,000 Upgrade outdoor play area
MI Foster Care Center $5,000 Back-to-School clothing event
Ann Arbor Symphony $3,028 Kinder Concerts

 

A separate District Grant Award, involving participation by Rotary volunteers, will be announced in the near future.
