Purple Pinkie Day a Success!

Thanks to the committee’s great efforts, and the great response of our members and guests at lunch yesterday, We are happy to report the following results for our 2018 Purple Pinkie Project on behalf of World Polio Day.

Our speaker, PDG Liz Smith, “attacks” the “wild polio virus”, AG Anne Nauts.

We collected $1,574.10 from 75 people (several of these donors were guests) and we have a pledge of $100 from one person, so our grand total will be $1,674.10 from 76 people!!!

This will be matched 2:1 by the Gates Foundation, so with that match of $3,348.20, we will have raised $5,022.30 to benefit the eradication of Polio!!

Thank you everyone for your generosity for such a great cause.
