Friday, March 15 was bittersweet indeed. Rotarians and guests at this month’s meeting at Glacier Hills, while thrilled to have guest speaker Versell Smith educate us all on the wonderful blessing the Corner Health Center in Ypsilanti is, were also saddened to say goodbye to a dear friend. While Shelley MacMillan is not leaving the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor, thank goodness, she will be leaving her role as Executive Director of the Glacier Hills Foundation. Shelley’s cheer and attention to detail were unparalleled and Burt Voss was one among many who are sorry to see her go. We wish Shelley all the very best as she embarks on her journey to Silver Maples in Chelsea. We look forward to working with Shelley’s capable replacement who turns out to be a former Rotarian!
