Potential is equally distributed in our world, but opportunity and access are not. Washtenaw Promise was founded to address that. This non-profit community action program seeks to empower every child to reach his or her full potential. Collaborative enterprise is its touchstone. It seeks to enhance communication between community organizations, schools, and stakeholders. In addition to helping build and manage sustainable partnerships among organizations not active in this field, it endeavors to fill in gaps in opportunity with new, data9driven programs. Our speaker will discuss how this critically important task is acomplished.
