Weekly meeting - October 17: District Governor's Visit

Today will mark the annual Club visit by District 6380 Governor Jane McManus, who will speak to us about Rotary International President Barry Rassin’s 2018-19 theme “Be the Inspiration.”

Jane earned a Bachelor of Business degree from Eastern Michigan University in Operations Research Information Systems. In 1987, she and her husband Michael started Micro Works Computing in Brighton. From its roots as a training company when personal computers were just making their debut on office desktops, the firm has evolved into a full-service information technology consulting firm for local businesses. Jane joined the Rotary Club of Brighton in 1088. Her community service and leadership roles include: Howell Chamber of Commerce Board Member, Women’s Resource Center Chair, LACASA (Livingston Area Council against Spouse Abuse) Board Member, and service on the Livingston County United Way Allocation Committee. In 2015 Jane was inducted into the Brighton Women’s Role of Honor.
