(Invoice #1) Community Service Assessment

As a condition of your membership, you are required to pay annual dues and a Community Service Assessment (CSA). Your dues were paid in the summer of 2019. Your CSA donation is due by the end of December 2019. The amount is $200 and covers the entire 2020 calendar year. For payment of the CSA online, there is a $6 surcharge to offset the cost of processing.

(Invoice #2) The Permanent Fund of the Ann Arbor Rotary Foundation

Donations to the Permanent Fund are optional. Donations are credited toward membership in the club’s Sustainers’ Society.

Donations and planned giving beyond the level of the Sustainers Society are also welcome. Contact Norman Herbert at for details.

(Invoice #3) The Rotary Foundation

Several options are available as listed below:

Every Rotarian, Every Year” is the traditional way to contribute to the good work of Rotary. The Rotary Foundation (TRF) suggests a donation of $100 but, of course, any amount is appreciated. Contributions to EREY are credited to the $1000 needed for a donor to achieve the first or next level of Paul Harris Fellow (PHF).

Donations to “PolioPlus” are also result in credit toward a PHF. Donations here also result in two-for-one match from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Note that your contributions to either EREY or PolioPlus qualify you to receive a one-for-two match from our club’s stock of Foundation Recognition Points (FRPs). As an example, a total donation of $667 will be matched by 333 points that will result in your first or next PHF.

Like our local Ann Arbor Rotary Foundation, TRF also maintains a Permanent Fund with gifts held in perpetuity. Only the proceeds of investments are used. Your donations to this fund earn credits toward Benefactor status which is first achieved at the $1000 level. Donations in this category are not eligible for credit toward a PHF.

In any of the three areas of TRF listed above, your contribution can be made through the club if paying by check. If you wish to use your credit card, you will need to go the TRF website.

The Rotary Foundation has just received the top rating from Charity Navigator for eleven years in a row. Click here to learn more.
