President Schlissel’s decision to cancel all large gatherings on campus led the University Musical Society, and the School of Music Theatre & Dance, to cancel performances through the end of the spring semester.
However, if you are a fan of classical music, all is not lost. Try out the Berlin Philharmonic Digital Concert Hall: full length concert programs are streamed live from Berlin during the season, plus an extensive archive of past performances is available for viewing. There usually is a nominal charge for “tickets” to watch individual concerts or for a season pass. However, as a result of the “shelter in place” regulations currently in force in Germany to try and contain coronavirus, access to the full archive currently is free of charge through at least 31 March.
