As you may have heard by now, our weekly newsletter the Harpoon is getting a name change. Within the next several months, it will be changed to the Ann Arbor Rotarian. Thanks to everyone who suggested names and subsequently voted to make this final selection. This name was also agreed upon by the Board of Directors at their March 17th meeting.
Calling all design-savvy members! With a name change will come a makeover, so the Public Image Committee is taking submissions for the design of the Ann Arbor Rotarian’s masthead. This will be prominently displayed at the top of the e-newsletter. As a reminder, this is what the Harpoon’s masthead looks like:
We are also looking for any suggestions on the design/layout/template for the e-newsletter through Constant Contact. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to submit those as well.
Here is a quick guide by Rotary International on visual identity. This may help you choose colors and fonts as recommended by Rotary International.
The Harpoon masthead was a part of our club for around 100 years. Your submission, if chosen, could have a similar impact on our club’s identity and history.
Please make your submissions by Saturday, May 1st to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We can’t wait to see your design(s)!
