Weekly Meeting Statistics
A total of 102 members were on hand to hear from Rose Bellanca give us an update on WCC. We had two visiting Rotarians (ADG Anne Nauts of Chelsea and Sue Kerry of Duluth MN). Sue is the daughter of Bob and Gloria Kerry. We also had five guests. Eleven members of the International Humanitarian Projects Committee met before lunch.
June District 6380 Newsletter
June is Rotary Fellowships Month on the Rotary calendar. The latest newsletter from the District is now available. Within its first three pages, you will find DG Barry Fraser’s review of the year. Page 4 is an article on the annual awards given at the District Conference. Our own Ashish Sarkar received the Brymer Williams Foundation Award. Brymer was Dave Williams father and served as president of our club in 1987-1988 and was our District Governor for two years shortly thereafter. Pages 5 through 8 report on the District Conference, including congratulations from the District Conference. Lots of our members are mentioned. Page 9 describes our Tree Planting effort and was co-authored by new Rotarian Lauren Heinonen. This 20 page edition concludes with the usual reports on projects and advertisements for various fundraisers at district clubs. Click here
to read the entire issue. One item of note is that the Ann Arbor West Club is changing its schedule to meet on the first and third Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm. The venue is also changing to Absolute Title, 2875 W. Liberty Road.
