7 Ann Arbor Students Attend 2019 RYLA Conference

The annual RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) conference was held this past weekend, April 12-14, at Camp Copneconic in Fenton, MI. The Rotary Club of Ann Arbor sponsored 7 Ann Arbor students to attend the conference this year.
RYLA is a student leadership conference held annually and organized by District 6380.  The conference is designed to encourage leadership, promote personal and leadership development, and promote character building and good citizenship.  The RYLA conference also introduces students to Rotary and helps develop future Interact Club leadership teams.  Students participate in a variety of team building activities and work in teams developing various global service project concepts.
