4th of July Parade Update: Line Up Instructions & More!

Come celebrate Independence Day on Thursday, July 4th with your fellow Rotarians! We have 20 marchers so far and plenty of room for more. Please email Christie Bacon if you plan to join us: christielbacon@gmail.com.
Our parade lineup position (as well as parade rules, waiver, etc.) will be posted on the Jaycee’s website by 6pm on Sunday, June 30, 2019.  http://a2jaycees.org/events/ann-arbor-jaycees-fourth-of-july-parade/ .
**UPDATE: We are group #51 and will be meeting at the corner of North University and State Street.

Schedule of Events:
8-9:00am Participants arrive, check-in, turn in waivers, and line up in their position
Rotary marchers – plan to arrive by 9:15-9:30
9:45am Call to Order and Star Spangled Banner
9:55am Pull out Begins
10:00am Official start of the parade
The parade route is approximately 1 mile and will take about 1.5 hours to complete.
Don’t forget to wear your blue or white Rotary shirt if you have one. We also recommend bringing plenty of water, and wearing sun screen and anything else you need to protect from the elements.
