Update on Habitat for Humanity Youth Build, Your CSA Dollars at Work!

This past year, our club supported Habitat for Humanity Youth Build program with a community grant. See below a message received from Leah Borst, from Habitat of Humanity Huron Valley.

This is a great example of your CSA donation dollars at work!

“I hope this email finds you all well, and your loved ones healthy during this difficult year. I just wanted to send a quick update related to our Youth Build, in which the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor supported with grant funding. We are pleased to say – despite COVID-19 times – the program is working very successfully. Each week, roughly 6 students from the participating area school districts attend our active build site to gain hands-on work experience. We will provide a detailed summary of the program and it’s impact on the students and our program by March, however, I just wanted to give a quick update. Please see the attached picture of students from Dexter who were out last week working at the site.

Please let me know if you have any questions or needs at this time.
We thank you again for supporting this program.”
